One of the most common things I hear from new clients is:
“I thought I was losing my hearing.”
A sudden change in your hearing can be worrying, but it’s not always caused by permanent hearing loss. One of the most common reasons people experience muffled hearing, blocked ears or the need to keep turning the television up is impacted ear wax.
Because the symptoms can feel quite dramatic, many people assume the worst or simply put up with it for weeks or even months.
Every ear wax removal appointment starts with an examination of your ears. This allows me to check whether ear wax is actually causing the problem before carrying out microsuction if it’s needed. If wax isn’t the cause, I’ll explain what I’ve found so you can seek the appropriate medical advice.

If your hearing has changed recently or one ear feels blocked, don’t spend weeks wondering why.
Appointments are available across Basingstoke, Overton and the surrounding villages.
