When people book an appointment, they often arrive expecting to have treatment straight away. While that’s often the outcome, it isn’t always the right one.

Every appointment at Tempera Health and Skin Clinic Limited starts with an assessment. That’s because no two people, or two conditions, are exactly the same.

Whether you’ve booked for ear wax removal, a skin lesion, a verruca or another treatment, my first priority is understanding what’s causing the problem and whether treatment is appropriate.

Sometimes the answer is to go ahead.

Sometimes it makes sense to wait.

Occasionally, I may recommend that you see your GP or have further investigations before any treatment takes place.

Giving the right advice is just as important as providing the treatment itself.

I believe people should leave an appointment feeling confident that the advice they’ve received is in their best interests, even if that means not having treatment on the day.
